by Christoph Wartmann

Measuring paraglide's wing behavior in realtime to develop more safe wings and get more details of behavior in certain conditions. One big problem of paraglider is the collapse or stall, because it is no fixed wing. Most of all fatal accidents are caused by a (asymmetric) collapses as main trigger in the accident chain. This project do a research on wing-behavior in detail while flying and trying to give manufactures better data, which helps to become more safe or faster.

MIU Mobile Interactive Units
by Architectures as Interfaces class, Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia

There are environmental phenomena that are far from the experience and knowledge of people. It is necessary to start thinking about information systems, data visualization and the interaction with them that encourage the understanding and contribute to disseminate this knowledge. The MIUs are a set devices that amplify social-environmental phenomena through designed experiences inside/outside the units.
